    I had a HK MR762A1, but sold it. I would argue that the gas piston makes it more difficult to shoot sub-moa consistently, though my SCAR 17 was definitely a sub moa shooter. I’d advocate for a KAC SR-25 (I have an ECC) or a Wilson Combat .308 or 6.5 Creedmore.

    If you havent yet check out the F4 Defense firearms they are great guns 308,224 ,6.5

    Agree with almost everything above, but... stay away from 168gr SMKs. They have known issues with destabilizing when going transonic at 900-1000yds.

    168 vs. 175 is not a mess. 175 routinely perform better beyond 850 yards

    Why all the hate? Bryan Litz does a pretty good job of explaining why the 168gr SMK has problems. I've even experienced them firsthand.
