My son would like a pistol safe to store his .38 in and out of sight from his liberal girlfriend.

I would assume he will have it in their bedroom.

Can anyone recommend a good pistol safe, electronic biometric that works ?

hmmm, girlfiend is gonna be mad when he can't get the pistol out of the safe fast enough to protect her. :sad20:
If children are involved then it's a different story.
Bass Pro Shops has a nice one they pit on sale once in a while

I have a couple of the Biometric Gun Vaults. They open by reading your fingerprint. There is also a backup key. It kind of looks like a notebook computer. Fast and easy, just a little pricey. About $175.

I have a Stack On that I got at a gun show for $80 that works great. Punch number in, twist knob, open door. I keep my more expensive handguns in there, plus my passport and other important papers.

I have the non-biometric Gunvault. Stores two guns plus some other small stuff. GC had it for $169 I beleive (I've had it a while now).

I say... have your son get the biggest safe he can find. Bolt it to the wall in the bedroom and dump the girlfriend.

Take the money he would save on flowers, jewelery, crap with frills and lace on it and buy more ammo.

Just my opinion... oops... got to go. The wife is calling.

Yes - but like most of us - we learn too late.

I got the large Gunvault safe last week from Gun Connection. Great price! Dan has all of the Gunvault stuff in stock and his prices are good to go.

From everyone's recommendation and my research - looks like Gun Vault is the way to go. Thanks.
