I believe it's the $500 P-38 that is C&R. The P-1 is the same thing only made post-war and with an alloy frame. Unless you can somehow verify a particular P-1's 50+ years old status it is not C&R.

It's a bit more but you could get the P-38 they have. I got one from AIM a while back. It's pretty sweet. It has the Nazi markings and was captured by the Russians. The P1's and P38's are a little tempermental with ammo though.
