I'll have to take a picture of the picture print I have. The outfitter has a homemade cart they made out of sheet metal. 8 of us pulled the bull onto the cart and walked it to the truck. We then lifted the end of the cart to slide the bull into the truck. There is also a couple of outfits that drag them in sleds via horses.Awesome hunt....congrats. I have a question though....how do you get the whole bull back to the weigh-in station? It would take heavy machinery to lift that beast.

So by some wild stroke of luck, I was drawn for one of the 26 Bull Elk tags in PA this coming fall. Any one on the board ever hunt Elk in PA? I drew in Zone 8.

My guide just sent me this photo, really shows how wide this bull was. 50.5 inch spread.
It could definitely be done DIY if you had the time to go up and do some heavy scouting and acquire access to some private lands.Great story.
Thanks for sharing,
The expense info is especially helpful to new hunters.
Pa Game Lands. If you are familiar with the area around Benezette, it was taken on the game land food plots visible from the Dent's Run Elk viewing area.Awesome Bull, Big Country.
Was this on private property or on Pa Game lands?
