Suppose that last month you built an AR pistol from a just purchased 80% lower and with a brace it is >29". And then to satisfy Crazy Joe, you submit federal paperwork to make it a legal SBR.

Have you now turned your legal pistol into an illegal (in MD) rifle because it is not a "heavy" barrel?

IOW, does MD's stupid "heavy" barrel requirements apply to SBR's?

Also, if you convert your pistol into a SBR, why not remove the flimsy brace and add a regular rifle stock?

Does Crazy Joe think my SBR with a real rifle stock makes Baltimore safer than the pistol with a brace? Morons!
