Duke University is hosting a panel discussion this coming Monday, April 12th at 12:30p about The Second Amendment and the State’s Monopoly on Violence

They usually do a reasonable job of presenting both sides of the issue.

Susan Liebell, Associate Professor of Political Science and Pre-Law Advisor, St. Joseph’s University
Alice Ristroph, Professor of Law, Brooklyn Law School
Jonathan Obert, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Amherst College
Robert Leider, Assistant Professor of Law at Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University.

I would guess that they will be recording it. They do have a youtube channel. The channel is for the law school as a whole, but they do have a playlist dedicated to their Center for Firearms Law

I really enjoyed watching the event. I think there is a lot to learn about the real reasons the 2A was written. I liked the second presentation the best (Jonathan Obert) followed by the third (Robert Leider). The last presenter (Susan Liebell) had an extreme left wing take on the issue. I though the concepts she articulated were correct, but completely misapplied to the situations she described.
