Drop in as opposed do to what? Not fit?
Some Glock barrels do require some fitting in order to have the tightest lockup possible. I assume this is for some sort of competition use case, but it seems less common these days than in years past.

Next stop is to figure out the comp... I assume a TBRCi Micro or similar.

Crud... looks like I missed the boat on these... just as well... a 60 dollar barrel would have lead to another $1000 NFA purchase :-)

I talked myself outta one just for that reason. two cans at the atf and I have gone overboard on buying stuff in the last 4-6 months so I gotta cool down some, lol

Mine came today, and it seems like it fits in just fine. Still need to buy the upper completion kit to get full-functional testing, but I'd say it's a good sign.

Literally got mine a few minutes ago, seems to be pretty decent

Probably.... Perfectly legal if you have the tax stamp first. The solvent trap craze seems to have dried up, although I really didn't hear too much about people getting busted for making unregistered cans... I'm sure it happened, but didn't seem to be huge bow wave of convictions for it.

I will probably just stick to over-paying for a metal tube produced by a licensed manufacturer... paying for the knowledge that nothing is colored outside of the lines, I guess. Sigh.

Thanks to the OP for letting us know about this deal and also giving the secret code to get free shipping! I ordered one for myself yesterday. Can't wait to get it now. I already have a can that I should be able to use.

I am a complete newb when it comes to this stuff and I may or may not be waiting on a Poly 80 lower in the mail.:innocent0

So can someone please school me on the differences between these 2 barrels? From all the specs they list, they appear identical. The only thing that I can see is that one is labeled 'unbranded', whatever that means. Thanks in advance.
