Finally grew a set and tackled my first stippling job on my 17 frame. My only regret is not doing it sooner! I'm not completely finished yet though, I still need to finish the trigger undercuts and polish a few of the spots that I sanded.

I ended up removing the finger grooves, all the gen 4 texturing, and removed the thumb grooves. The magwell is from Agency Arms.

Looks great all put together! The grip panels actually have a nice break up from the lower color!

BTW Thanks again I freaking LOVE it! Had to spend like 30 mins rearranging my safe but totally worth it.

What tape did you use on the front finger grips? I don't see those staying in place very long. At least not when I have used grip tape pieces.

They're called Decal Grips, these are the rubberized kind (I don't care for the sandpaper style) and I have these on the finger grooves on a G22, they stay put really well, the adhesive they use has a real death grip, so much so that I asked the guys at Engage Armament where I got the 20SF Cerakoted if I ever want to peel them off is it going to damage the Cerakote (they said no). The finger groove pieces I applied were just cut from left over material, they weren't "die cut" like the panels. I also used a piece of left over material on the front of the trigger guard, it's really nice for a two handed grip, which is how I do most of my shooting anyway.

Check them out, I really like mine.. http://www.decalgrip.com/cataloggallery.html

Anyone running a g34? I am thinking of getting a full size 9mm to go with my g19 trying to decide between g17 and g34

If you only get one Glock I'd recommend a G19 above all others. Second pick would be a G17.

If you get a G34 you can always buy a G17 slide later for use with the same frame.

I haven't taken any full collection pics since picking up my last two: Gen 1 G17 & another Gen 2 G19. Thanks for the reminder.

    I have a g19 now it's time for a second glock

I have a G19 and G20. I'm looking at the G26 next and then the G34 as I get into more competition. I was at a LGS today. They didn't have the 26 in stock but could order one for $599. I thought that was high. I prefer buying local and expect to pay a little extra but that seems too high.

Sounds like you are ahead of me on the learning curve. I'm still looking for the time to learn about the different competition formats. Not sure if you belong to AGC but they may be offering an intro class.

From what I have read it sounds like you are on the right track with G34.

Thought I'd share some of the Glock love. Here's my G19 Gen 4 MOS with Trijicon RM07, Trijicon Suppressor Sights, Talon Grips,Torsion IWB holster, three 15rd mags and a stainless steel threaded barrel.
