    Hey guys and gals! New to the MD area, ran across this site while trying to figure out some of these crazy regulations you guys have here. So far some of the info I've read has been rather helpful in the transition so I decided to join up. THANKS!

    The nearby Ranges for you are Maryland Small Arms , nominally in Upper Marlboro, about 10min from base, and Fred's Sports in Waldorf, about 20-25min .

    Welcome, from Frederick. Many of the laws in Maryland are pretty nonsensical. Ask questions when you have them. It's a great group of folks on this forum.
