Need an M1 Garand rebarreled

Was wondering if there is any IP's here that could change out a barrel on a Garand? I will be ordering the barrel and just need the old one replaced. If not an IP, any decent gunsmith will work but figured I'd check here first.

Thanks!

Go to Shuffs. While you’re on his site take a look at his mini-g conversion.

Back in the dark ages when I got my first CMP M1 Garand, I personally took it over to Fulton Armory and asked them to re-barrel it. They took it in, and called me a few days later to come pick it up.

They don't work that way now, and moreover they're not an IP.

I second this. Charlie and Clint Mckee at Fulton Armory in Savage, MD are both M1 experts. You may get it back faster from Charlie.

I second the vote for Shuff's. Nice work and reasonable turnaround time. He can do a re-parkerize as well if you like.
