You are looking at about a 3dB difference between the Razor and the Surge. The advantage of the Razor is less back pressure and smaller and lighter. Perfect for a gun that you want to move around with.

Rugged has also just come out with the Micro30 that is like the Razor in the long config and about 5" long in short config. That is more like the Sandman-K. Personally, I like my Surge and Razor but am looking at the Micro30 as well since I can basically use it as another Razor.
