From one of the comments:

This person called into STAR 98.3 this morning. Him and his fiancee were driving back from Fredericksburg last night, and it was pouring down rain. He stated that their car suddenly came to a halt, and the airbags deployed. They were not able to see anything, which is pretty understandable.

Since nobody cares, I will post it anyway, the copule was able to walk away with only burns from the airbags.
