I have a collection of used motor oil, hydraulic fluid, old gas, oil paint, stain, car batteries etc. I would like to pay to have hauled away. The collection covers an area of approximately two standard pallets.
Does anyone do this type of work or know who to call. Thanks.
    In Clinton PG county.

UPDATE - a member has graciously helped me out.

oil, hyd fluid, gas are easy - honestly, refineries should pay for it not charge, as it is easier to distill than crude.

the stain and paint are a little harder esp if the oil paint has lead.

Our county does Hazzard day once a month at the landfill. Always take oil and anti freeze and latex paint

Did you try Stericycle? I am not sure if they do non-contract, but they recycle darn near everything else, and if they don't they might have another company to recommend. They list on their site all kinds of stuff and a search for paint disposal hit on their page, so might be worth a call just to see.

What I am looking for is someone to take it to the appropriate disposal location for a fee.

Find a friend that lives in DC. The fort Totten transfer station will accept an atom bomb on Saturday’s during the hazmat hours.

You can get gift cards from advance auto parts stores for old car batteries. $10 each I believe.

They are back to charging for used oil pickup. I think it was. .60 a gallon our last pickup.

Batteries should be easy, core charges right now are a think $16.00

OP, many recycling centers will pay you .25 a pound for lead acid batteries. Search for a recycling center in your area.

Track Auto, Autozone, etc. all take used oil as do County reclamation areas.

Have any friends that live in MoCo? The Shady Grove facility will take all of that, no fuss. There's a place to stack the batteries, tanks into which you can dump the petroleum-based stuff, and a manned HazMat table where you can hand over anything paint/solvent/stain related. We show up with jugs of nasty acid and some ungodly solvents and other carcinogens ... they just smile and say thanks. Any MoCo resident can drop stuff off there. If it looks like a commercial activity, that changes things.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. If my beater truck was running at the moment I would take your advice and dispose of this stuff as suggested. At the moment I only have my VW golf and I don't want to put that crap inside and make multiple trips. I was hoping for someone to take it all off my hands in exchange for cash.
Worst case I will wait until I get the truck road worthy and then take the stuff for disposal.
In the mean time if anyone is interested I am willing to pay a couple hundred plus any disposal fees.

+1 on batteries, my neighbors here in the industrial park ask me to dispose of their batteries and interstate gives me 12.00 per recyclable battery even if not tied to a sale of one of theirs, they even took a big ol forklift battery and paid me.

Who are you using for oil pickup? Heritage hit me at .60 a gallon plus a truck fee of 50 dollars. A rep from Origin came by and offered me .35 a gallon pick up and no truck fee. That could have been a one time thing though to try to steal me away from Heritage

If you’re interested in trying out origin, they’re based in baltimore I’ll pm you the contact info of the rep that came out and told me .35 a gallon. Every little bit helps these days.

It’s funny when these oil recyclers are doing it free based on high crude prices, it took forever to get them to come out. When they charge a high price they’re stopping in all the time checking the tank.

Damn. With all the folks I know on hard times due to the China flu I can’t believe I can’t think of anyone with a truck in So PG / So MD that can help set up a Win / Win - ESPECIALLY since avenues for disposing of just about all of this stuff have been identified.

(Side note: having tried to get rid of some hazzies in So MD, I am floored MoCo - let alone DC - makes it easier than Calvert and STM counties!)
