    Maybe you can just get the complete upper, providing you have an extra lower.

    I have no idea. I have a Colt Defense Diemaco-made upper, and it's like every other Colt, so far as I can tell.

    Its an integrated upper I think. Forarm and upper receiver are one part. I think they'd run afoul of the vltor(?) patent on 1-pc uppers if they brought them into the states. Though Colt could prob just pay a licensing fee too. Mega had to redesign theirs to two pc after the patent was approved.
