I've got the week off and have started my latest Form 1 silencer build. It is designed for a 9mm rifle (planning on building a 9mm AR soon) but should be fine for a reduced velocity .308 Win (my Ruger Gunsite has a threaded barrel). The rendering is shown without the outer tube which is just a 7.625" length of plain / non-threaded tubing.

On my previous build, I had trouble with threading the tube and end caps because of the diameter and the rigidity / speed(too fast) limitations of my 9x20 lathe.

I put cutouts on the edges of the baffles to try to get some rotational flow inside the can.

    Specs:
    Length: 8"
    Diameter: 1.75"
Weight: 25 ounces (according to simulation)
    Volume: 5.89 cubic inches
    Threads: 5/8-24
    Bore: .406 (13/32 drill)

All materials were purchased from Amazon.com:
Outer tube: 1.75" OD x 1.56" ID A513 DOM Tubing
    End cap/baffle: 1.75" 12L14 rod
Fasteners: 4" 1/4-20 SS Cap Screws
