Prepandemic I purchased 500 200 grain hardcast bullets from Montana bullet works. Now that I've finally got a chance to get around to using them my powder choices have become scarce I would like to be able to put them down range at about 1200 FPS out of a lone wolf 6-in barrel installed in my glock G20. right now the only powders that I have that I believe may work are unique, hi skor 700x and a very small amount of blue Dot other reloading forums I have read have recommended 10.5 grains of blue Dot out of a 5-in barrel for that kind of performance. The problem is I don't have near enough blue Dot and I can't find it anywhere.I do have other pistol powders but I don't think any of them are capable of that kind of performance. So has anyone reloaded 10 mm heavies that can meet or exceed 1200 ft per second?
I'm also going to be shooting these out of my 10 mm monkey gun AKA Hi-Point carbine.
