    Looking for a new AR10 and need advice. I have narrowed it to 2... LWRC.REPR OR POF?

    LWRC has the best and most proven piston system. Just be sure you want to take that road....piston that is.

    Don't forget to look at adams arms they have a very nice 308 ar. Light and they run well. Also a piston too

    been super happy with my lwrc m6a3 dmr, assuming their 308 version also runs with out issues.

    also check out jp rifles, they're known for making competition ready guns that work and my ar-15 version works 100% just like the lwrc.

    Between the 2 I would pick LWRC.
    You should take a look Precision Firearms and see what they could build you for the price of a REPR. A friend had PF build one in 260 Rem with a Bartlein cut rifled barrel and it is a laser. The big advantage is building a rifle exactly the way you want.

    I have a REPR and I do not really care for it. It is picky about ammo in that it does not like NATO 147 gr bullets. It does fine with 168 gr bullets.
