Doubt I'll ever get to test the limits of the .338 Lapua but I'm having fun trying.

Yes, it is the FSC30. :D

and I dunno cause I still haven't had the chance to shoot it. :sad20:

Was thinking of putting it on a 7.62x54r Vepr but seems overpriced if it's not that effective at both tasks (brake/comp and flash hider). Let me know how it works out. Thanks!

Well, this is my (recently acquired) Remington 700 AAC-SD .308 in a B&C Medalist Stock, Harris Bipod, budget glass (for now), trident flash hider and my DIY digital camo paint job (spray can). Paint needs some touching up where paint bled through a few stencils but i am pleased. She is almost done, i have the bolt at my shop having my machinist thread the bolt handle for an oversized tactical knob i recently purchased. She is getting there, but i love her already. Wifey says she is my mistress! LOL!

Well here she is with the bolt reinstalled! Had my machinist at work thread the handle, took her home, used titanium putty to feather the handle to the bolt, ground and shaped her up, painted and reinstalled. I like the look, but even more the function is out of this world. Follow up shots will be much more timely. Hope you like, mind you i'm no photographer! :D

    Remington 700 AAC-SD in .308
    SS 10x side focus scope
    Weaver 20 moa base
    TPS ultra low rings
Harris 6-9 swivel/notch bipod with throw lever added

The stock sucks, but I sanded the channel so the barrel free floats until I can pick up a new stock.

The SS has a 42mm objective so I went with the lowest ring base combo set I could find. I started with an EGW base and TPS low rings, but damn it was high.

The weaver base isn't the most expensive, but it's honestly a well constructed base.

I plan on shooing it for the first time next weekend, and I hope to see a decent grouping.

EShell.......... is the 06AI that much of an upgrade over standard 06? looking it up I don't see huge velocity improvements UNTIL 180 and above gr bullets are used. NO???? Is accuracy a factor for it?

Nice looking stick! I bet it was worth the wait.
