AMAZING....the Media CANNOT help but twist any positive story about gun ownership, or concealed carry or what ever the issue is, and just ad a little twist to change or manipulate the story.

How many HUNDREDS or even THOUSANDS of positive gun ownership stories are manipulated or for the most part JUST NOT EVEN REPORTED every year by the left wing media in this country. This past year has just blown me away with how dishonest and manipulative just about ALL the media is now a days. I say just about, cause I wanted to be fair, and leave OPEN the possibility that there may be some honest reporting, somewhere......I just do not know where!!

They used the death by 1000 cuts you take away good stories bit by bit put in bad stories bit by bit and then you have "if it bleeds it leads."

I think the current climate in the country has just created a situation were they can be brazen about it. They have an agenda, they will push the agenda, and if "inconvenient truths" get in the way they can bury them.

When liberals cry that they don't like CCW, because it will "turn the place into the wild west", this is what they mean. They would prefer unarmed victims to die, rather than "allow" them the right to respond with lethal force against the perpetrators, in keeping with their "poor oppressed criminal class" narrative.

The wild west had lower crime even than we do today.

The "Wild" West also had a ton of gun control. You weren't allowed to enter a town with a firearm. People went to the sheriff, dropped off their guns, and picked them back up after they left.

Comparing anything in the 1800s to today in terms of firearms tends to be a bust as the two times really are not comparable.
