HB888 - grandfather clause for bump stocks

There were plenty of Slide Fire stocks to be had at the Oaks Expo this weekend. $400 to "get them before the ban". Body armor was being marketed the same way "Buy before the Ban"... I wasn't aware of any proposed body armor ban, and I couldn't get anyone to talk about it. Has anyone here heard about a body armor ban?

I swear, not once in the last 5 years have I seen a bump stock at AGC... Until the last few weeks.

We've had them at several TCA events in the past few years. Even I tried one at a TCA event, and it felt so weird I had no desire to try it again.
