    Really nice grouping!

A US Property is high on the list...

Thanks. Still have a lot of models to pick up, but its a pretty good start. I've got a Model C coming in soon. Also working on some Supermatics in different series and some Olympics.

The one that I would really like to find is the USA HD MS. The suppressed model made for the OSS and CIA. There are only a few transferables in the NFA registry.

This is probably not the right place to ask but... I would like to get a threaded barrel for my sport king to eventually add a suppresor - anyone ever seen one or know if an existing barrel could have threads added?

Look at my 3rd picture above. One of the Duramatics has a threaded barrel. This was a custom thread. I bought it that way. No one that I know of is selling these.

Start with an HD Military. You will not be disappointed.

My dad had one he carried while working as a courier on the Manhattan Project during WWII. (He had noooo idea wtf was gong on...). Very cool piece.

But whatever you do, DON'T dry fire it without a snap cap.

Don't ask me how I know...

Another High Standard pistol joins the collection. A Model C made in 1939.

This gun came from a dealer in North Pole Alaska. I would love to know the history of how it founds it's way from Connecticut in 1939 to Alaska in 2015. :)

somd_mustangs, here's something US marked! An early 60's vintage Tournament. Will have to add a US marked HD to the search list.

The first .22 cal pistol I ever shot was my dad's Duramatic with the same barrel length as the one on the far left in the OP's photo.

Only had 1 mag for it, but I managed to put quite a few boxes through it.

That's a cool collection OP.

Just added another High Standard .22 to the collection. A Letter Model E. Top of the line model in that series. Early model with the Type I-B take down. Made in 1938. It's a heavy gun and weighs a couple ounces more than an unloaded USGI 1911A1.
