Looking at the bills (search for the MoCo Delegation on the MGALEG website) - it appears they are trying to take the cops out of the loop in the automated revenue generators - no MCPD oversight prior to the automated issuance of a ticket from Red Light and Speed Camera systems.

There is some rumor that the County Council wants to allow citizens to enforce traffic laws? Be able to issue citations? Imagine all the Karens patrolling the roads!

I used to work with racist cops...not very many but a few. Not all were white...racism is not the sole province of white people.
