    Hello group,

Having experience in law enforcement experience and basic knowledge from another country and understanding how firearm knowledge and safety is very important in upholding the second amendment for personal protection, hobby or desire. I want to pursue professional firearm training and become a certified NRA instructor in specific area.

I've saved up ordered my first hand gun (1911 22lr) but I am looking to have experience with shot guns among other firearms, but financially things are little challenging. If anyone would be willing to sponsor me for this new venture or has one that they are not using that would be amazing. Along with someone who would be willing to teach me as well. I am not looking for a hand out, but asking for help from kind people from the community,

Looking forward to hearing everyones thoughts!!!

Welcome ! A fine and noble goal , and I'm sure everyone will encourage you to persue instructor training from NRA , and other sources .

That said , what are your ultimate goals ? Volunteer/ non- commercial instruction , possibly primarily with certain audiences ? Or hanging out a shingle as a Professional Firearms Instructor ?

I have an idea but not clear on my direction. The goal is to learn and with that knowledge, teach those who need it, whether it is volunteer work or so, the long term goal is to educate but first I need that foot in the door.
