I have a buddy who is a MD FFL and runs his business out of his house, he also has his class 3 license but has not dealt with any class 3 items yet. I was under the impression the dealers had to use form 3's to transfer items between themselves and manufacturers, He stated once he sends his class 3 license to a manufacturer then he can order class 3 items just like normal handguns, no form 3 or extra atf paperwork or wait time.
