These seem to have a slick finish. I have a few older steel mags from the UK and they have a rough, bead-blasted finish (like sandpaper) under the Parkerizing and don't drop free from some rifles.

Yeah but $5.....for $5 per I can do some light sanding on top to smooth out the finish where is contacts the mag well
