It's not all sweetness and light.

That not an article in support of the 2A.

It’s an article complaining the Joe’s assault on the 2A would make it more difficult for the leftist protesters (rioters) to attack the members of the legitimate 2A communities who are simply trying to defend their lives, families, and homes.

“Waaaahhh... we can’t protest (riot and attack you, burn your homes and businesses...) if Joe’s laws take away our ability to own guns.”

Every socialist group that has taken any country by force... has first armed the people helping them. Then once in power they round up and take all of the guns away. Then dispose of the most able fighters. They don’t want any resistance to be able to retake the country once they are in power.

    WaPo pro 2A??? :lol2::lol2::lol2:

They simply want the left armed so they have a chance to win.:cool:

These "pro-gun" Defenders of the Working Class are Useful Idiots who will be quickly crushed as soon as the One Party Totalitarian State seizes power.

Those who don't catch on real quick just might end up in mass graves.

Reads to me like the author has perceived the need to not, create a European form of gun control that precludes the yeomanry from exclusive firearms ownership.
In our country the problem is, every working citizen pays a certain amount of federal tax which should, one would think, garner a certain amount of individual freedoms mandated by the BOA that should be same/same irregardless of geographical location or imbalance of one political parties precepts.

They want to make sure or at least create the interpretation ownership is not rationed by personal wealth, party affiliation or social influence.
Which of course it already is to some extent, its just that Biden and other hacks like oRourke got out in front of the mob and didn't seem to ask for their input relative to the matter.
Soon that relationship will start to flounder as the extremist and current political face people start to disagree on how power and decision making is distributed inside their circle.
This is the first indication that the Biden team wants to hide it, instead of divide it.

The optics of violent lefties in the street will lack a certain amount of influence on internal party decision making, only looking like a pile of water bottle throwing wankers.
By using a manipulative behavior based method of threat making the radicals can assure themselves an internal party bargaining chip just by being able to turn on and off something scarier than swinging a skate board during a fit of hooliganism.
Not to mention the symbolism of marching around with firearms as a sign of power or leadership is appealing to man bunn wearing maggots or black nylon wearing idiots in the sun.

    From the OP’s provided link.

“By contrast, leftist community firearm clubs invest serious time into training and safety education, carefully vet their memberships and work arm-in-arm with the marginalized communities they are invited to protect.”

Only leftist clubs do this I see. I almost gag when I read horseshit like that.

The entire article is written to convince the reader that the socialist left is the only “responsible gun group” in the country.

Pro 2A? Yeah right... When it suddenly dawned on them that they are gonna need guns to fight the real Patriots... they all of a sudden got WOKE? :mad54:

They are pro 2A... like the folks with independence cards are pro income tax.

Snowflake training camps? AC, tennis shoes and croissants for lunch?
I trained with an infantry unit, though I was not a leg, I did get some field time in with some highly trained guys. I was in 1980-86 and we had quite a few Vietnam Vets and those guys knew their shit.
