I'm in for $100. It's an honor to be a charter contributing member to the MDS / Patriot Picket Legal Defense Fund. Check will be forthcoming tomorrow.

If you have always wanted to help with our Patriot Picket effort to keep our 2A flag flying, but could not do so, then know that helping me with my legal defense fund is just the help we are looking forward over the next couple of weeks.

I am honored to have firearms trainer and respected MSI board member Cypherpunk acting as my trustee for this fundraising.

The easiest way to help is to write a personal check or purchase a US Postal Money Order and make it out to Jeff Hulbert, with "Legal Defense Fund" in the memo section.

You can PM him for more info, or just send your much-needed and helpful donation right to his mail drop:

By posting notice of your contribution to this thread first, you are helping with the fundraising momentum needed for one guy to go up against the unlimited resources of the people that arrested me.

To those have stepped up already, and to those that will.....Thank you Thank you Thank you!

May I suggest putting the contribution info in post #1 so it is easy for everyone to find (instead of searching for post 124).

Or better yet, maybe a new thread dedicated to the R&R Legal Defense Fund.

Check for $100 on the way this morning.

Check sent yesterday. But geez, I had to dig up an envelope, manually address it in my chicken-scratch handwriting, and drive all the way to the Post Office to get stamps and mail it. Honestly! The things we have to do for ourselves when the S.U. is out of town!

    Just kidding of course.

Wish I could do more. Looking forward to Sunday’s festivities.

Hey everyone, I wanted to use PayPal too, but I was informed by Cypherpunk that PayPal would shut down any sniff of a legal defense fund.

So...lets all do it old school and get out an old dusty check or do what I'm doing and head to the Post Office, get a money order and a pre-stamped envelope and snail mail the "Constitutional coin".

Jeff, my budget can't afford a C-note, but I'm in for $25 which will be on its way tomorrow. I'll send more as my budget allows.

THANK YOU and your Bro. for what you are doing. And THANK YOU to Stoveman, and everyone else who was at NRA "Round 2".

That bald headed guy appears to have something concealed at his 4 o'clock position under the shirt. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm guessing he's part of Hogg's security team.

You mean like perhaps an off duty Fairfax County Police Officer doing security work, or some other LEO known to the Fairfax Officers?

I am in for $100 to start.

Counsel may want to subpoena all the Fairfax County PD video, but that may well necessitate a continuance of the trial date because it will be voluminous.

I am keeping my schedule open since I had first hand conversations with the Captain about his “rules,” with the County Executive about the unconstitutional nature of separate but equal/different public squares for the various groups, the Lt. about the modified rules, witnessed the arrest and the other protestors being escorted by the “crossing guards,” and the Capt.’s admission regarding disparate treatment.

Me too. I will support Rack with my testimony as to what I saw (most of what transpired) or just my presence in court.

This unconstitutional behavior by FCPD must not be allowed to stand

I don't get it. It is either an illegal arrest flowing from an unlawful order.... or it isn't.

It appears you are saying is that because of command structure, there is no room for officers to question orders that were part of the "tactical plan" given to the officers before we ever arrived. That's cop reality. I get it.

But just because a superior gives an order doesn't make it lawful. You are just acknowledging that officers follow commands by politically-influenced superiors to KEEP THEIR JOBS.
It's called the "police team concept". I'll give you an example that is obvious...

Officer 1 is covert, hidden somewhere watching suspected drug transactions. Officer 2 is in uniform and a marked car. Officer 1 observes an offense and alerts officer 2. Officer 2 arrests suspect, based upon observations of officer 1, even thou officer 2 didn't actually see the violation.

I don't know the details of your specific arrest. In my experience thou, if I am ordered to carry out a lawful order (or what I believe to be a lawful order), then I must follow my orders. Unless I know and can prove the order is UNLAWFUL, I have no choice.

Im sure you report to a supervisor at your job as well.
