On Piney Run:
Haven't fished it in years but I recall it being a deep water fishery in the summer catching bass 25-35' deep on points. Used to catch stripers in the spring jigging. Sorry, I've never fished Centennial.

Haven't fished either in quite a few yrs. but Centennial was a dead sea the last few times,thank you resident geese.
Fly rod,I'd hit Patapsco.Used to do well up near Johnny Cake area.

Crime is not to good at Centennial. No facts, just what I heard.

I have a picture taken last February of centennial lake frozen 90% with hundreds of geese and a few ducks on the ice . Amongst them was a layer of poop probably 2inches thick all over the entire ice .

We need a fish story -or- we need pics.
Next time take a larger rod too, catch similar fish then rehook them on a Circle hook and set them out for stripers, it can get very interesting. I've caught 30" stripers at Piney Run.
