Has anyone fished both? I'm off tomorrow and want to try some different water. I will have my kayak and I'm aware of the fees. Mostly I'll be using flyrods. Thanks

    On Piney Run:

Haven't fished it in years but I recall it being a deep water fishery in the summer catching bass 25-35' deep on points. Used to catch stripers in the spring jigging. Sorry, I've never fished Centennial.

I have a picture taken last February of centennial lake frozen 90% with hundreds of geese and a few ducks on the ice . Amongst them was a layer of poop probably 2inches thick all over the entire ice .

The term sh-t like a goose- was given to the correct creature

Lol! Here ya go. As mentioned prior in the thread, the bigger fish hold deep but these were a blast on a 2wt. fly rod!

Next time take a larger rod too, catch similar fish then rehook them on a Circle hook and set them out for stripers, it can get very interesting. I've caught 30" stripers at Piney Run.

My boy at P.R. a couple of weeks ago. Decent sized perch.
