Whenever I stop by greentop on my trips to the south, I always pick up a brick of 500 CCI .22 LR. Of course, I go through .22 LR pretty quick :)

    I miss living in Florida.

I was there last week and came home with three 555 bricks of Winchester and 500 rounds of CCI quiet for cheap (by comparison to the interwebs and MD/VA).

    Wow - a 22 mag sighting - that's a rare item. Even harder to find than 22lr!

Yeah more than anything it is my hope that as 22lr becomes more common and starts coming down in price a little 22wmr will actually be available again and be at reasonable prices. I'd really like to get a bolt action in 22wmr...but not if I am laying 5.56 prices per round and/or only able to find a 50 round box every 3rd Tuesday of the month. I don't need 2000+rnds like I do 22lr, but it would be nice to keep a few hundred around and at prices less than .20 a round.

I really want a 22wmr to try it for coyote and turkey (fall season). And woodchuck/nutria if I get the chance because frankly my 22lr is sighted for a zero at 50yds for squirrel rabbit for head shots which gives me 8" of drop at 100yds with high velocity rounds and still something like 5" of drop with hyper velocity 22lr. It'd be nice to have a 22wmr where I can zero it for something like 100yds and have no more than about 2" above/below over about 150yd range. I wouldn't use 22wmr on a rabbit or squirrel and I am only confident to about 50yds on a rabbit head and about 35yds on squirrel head offhand and I am looking for meat, not body shots, hence the 50yd zero.

Yesterday 6/7/16, basspro arundel mills had 500 rnd federal bricks $30. And cci hollow points 300/$24.99

well CRAP... after my last couple horrible experiences with my dually in that friggin parking lot I swore I would never go there again... now you might have me rethinking that decision. I love the store but parking for me is a nightmare there, especially after the casino went in a couple years ago.

6.5c/ round. DSG has 325 pack Federal 22LR on sale for $19.98, limit 1. Several dozen boxes on the shelf at the Rio Gaithersburg location.

They have a new policy where they put the ammo in a sealed clear plastic bag at the ammo counter. Perhaps to keep the rounds together in case you drop the box......
