John Boh Panders Again...this time talking about traffic at the Great Mills intersection, just two weeks prior to the election.

Tuesday evening he's having another forum at the high school to talk about the Great Mills intersection. Hey, do you think that would have been handy right before the legislative session and not just two weeks prior to the election? Show up at the high school Tuesday night at 1800 and ask John some hard questions.

Typical Boh making big promises and getting lots of media coverage. But when it comes time to deliver the goods he gives us a new gas tax and instead of the $20 mil for the bridge he said was coming we get a 50% reduction. Where did the other half go Boh? In addition Maryland is supposed to have a $400+mil shortfall. The State Comptroller just got done saying on WMAL radio that property taxes might have to go up 67%. So where does Boh expect to get money for a new bridge in Great Mills? Ask Boh if the Vehicle Mileage Tax is one of his parties new funding schemes. Sure as God made green apples if Boh gets re-elected the VMT will become a reality. Yeah you are free to go anwhere you want in this country as long as you pay Marlandistan by the mile.

Now he's going to widen Rt. 5 in Scotland on the way to Point Lookout Park. $2 million he suddenly found weeks before the election. This project has been around since the 70s. http://www.somdnews.com/article/20141017/NEWS/141019306/1074/design-funded-to-widen-southern-rt-5&template=southernMaryland

Except the common threads to these proposals are this:

    1) the amounts of money he is pledging are far below the expected costs,
    2) the efforts, like the gun range, Solomon's bridge, etc. are studies and task forces, not action, and
    3) it's our tax money being used to try to buy votes.

The sad part is that JohnBoh believes we are that stupid. Let's prove him wrong.

    4 November 2014.

Or early voting, starting 23 October.

    2014.
