Have 2 , shoots just like any other AR . My Scout is new , have not shot her . I put a rail and Magpul sights front and rear ... may be selling it with a 8 day . It's a basic model but you always dress them up the way you want .

Its light. And it's accurate. Actually is my fav AR to shoot right now. Not sure why just like the way it feels. Just a hair heavier than my SW 15-22. Yeah its that light.
Upper and Lower fit together nicely. Not as tight as my Stag but close.
No wiggle on the fore end.
My only complaint and it doesn't mean anything, its supposed to be all Mil Spec but the buffer tube is commercial. Again no biggie. But you would think......

I have one of the standard M4 models. It's pretty light and has worked 100% for far. I think it's pretty darn good, and it was cheap!

Here is mine. Magpul black everything except the Hogue beavertail grip, BAD ambi safety, BCM CH Mod 4, and that's pretty much it. I don't scope my ARs so sorry no optic to show.
Full M-16 bolt shown.
Yeah I like it. Wish I had gotten it from Gary @ High Rock before the scare.... Oh well. Water under the bridge.

Yeah it is odd. I have heard that as well. It definitely has the slant in the tube. How long ago did you get yours?
