High shoulder/neck shot
she turned broad side at about 50 yards, I almost thought i jerked the trigger and shot it in the head. when the bullet hit it blew out a noticeable pink mist.

Awesome! I've killed close to 20 groundhogs in my back yard, for some reason they frequent the neighbors yard now and not mine 
Jeez dude, I was just about to go eat dinner...
Its not like I object to the graphic photo, but a little warning would be nice.

My yard butts up to a farm that has goats. I seem to shott 10 or 15 groundhogs a year for the farmer. So far only 2 this year, guess they might be learning to stay away.
