it's been advertised in their catalog and in magazines for a while now, at least over a year, but i have never seen one around
I don't think they've put it on the roster yet either. In fact, I just checked and could not find a single one on Auction Arms or Gunsamerica. Peerhaps Kimber is having second thoughts about entering the already flooded half-polymer striker fired market. Or perhaps they have just accepted the fact that Glock is the undisputed master of the self-defense pistol, and always will be
