No secret that Winchester and Remington 22-250 brass has been mighty tough to find the last couple of years. Hornady has sometimes been spotty as well, but more readily available. And you can get all of the Norma and Lapua you want, if you want to pay a buck a case.

Stumbled across what I think is a solid deal on Hornady 55 grain SP LOADED AMMO at Wideners. They have 50 packs in stock at $32.55. That's $5.44 per 50 cases of loaded ammo less expensive than the $37.99 that Midway wants for the Hornady 22-250 brass alone.

ONE WAY to get brass! I've had no complaints with Hornady ammo or brass generally. YMMV, but a potential work around in the event someone else might be looking for 22-250 brass like I've been.

a good deal for blasting ammo. I got 200 pcs of hornady brass a couple years ago and found that the weight variance was significantly greater than winchester. about equal to remington. for the good stuff, hunt down Nosler brass. it's worth backordering. I'm going to do Ackley chambers in both my 22-250's once i burn em out. then I won't have to replace brass as often.

    Here's my advice...

There is plenty of loaded ammo available but no empty brass...

So why not buy 40 to 150 rounds of loaded ammo & save the brass..?

Step 1. Here is a link to ammoseek.com it has a complete list of who has what & what it costs...

The link that I attaching is already open to 22-250...

There are lots of bullet weight choices...

Indeed sir. I bought 150 rounds from Wideners, more for the brass. No telling when brass availability gets back to normal. And thanks for the link!
