I'll stick this here;

I believe a new definition of "Transfer" Bill did pass. Can a shooter take a gun owned by his spouse, parent, son or sibling (etc.) across state line to a gun range? Speaking in the sense of being lawful/legal when this becomes law.

According to BATFE lending a firearm for “sporting purposes” is legal

The bill related to transfer which passed is this one: http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/webmga/fr...b=01&ys=2018RS

Its not related to "loaning" firearm. You are thinking maybe of these, which did not:

Don't go by just the synopsis. That was from when the bill was introduced. It's been amended.

It applies to all guns. It simply tells the court to tell a defendant convicted of disqualifying crimes to have their guns transferred, or seized if they fail to comply.

Has nothing to do with changing the definition of transfer.
