What didn't stop the MD school shooting?

    1. Maryland's assault weapon ban
    2. Maryland's universal background check
    3. Maryland's 10rd magazine limit
    4. Maryland's law requiring an exhaustive application process to obtain a permit to purchase a handgun
    5. Maryland's law prohibiting the purchase of more than one handgun per month
    6. Maryland's law requiring handgun registration
    7. Maryland's law requiring licensing of handgun owners
    8. Maryland's extremely limited approval of concealed carry permits
    9. Maryland's refusal to honor any concealed carry permit from another state
    10. Federal law prohibiting handgun possession for people under 21
    11. Laws against carrying without a permit
    12. Gun free zone laws
    13. Laws against discharging a firearm in public
    14. Laws against attempted murder

What did stop the Md school shooting?

An armed person at the scene who engaged the shooter in less than a minute.

    Am I missing anything?

It is sad and we can help prevent this lunacy as responsible citizens of this fine state, but.... they won't let us. Something is very wrong.

Evil people do evil things by whatever means are available to them. Until people get their head out of their butt and realize this it will go on and on and on.

And proving once again that MGA has no interest in making us safer, but is more than happy to exploit the tragedy and try whatever they can to ban all guns.

The problem is we are preaching to the choir here as we all know. The 14 items above have absolutely nothing to do with dead kids. And won't stop any killings at all. But the left don't know any better. After each and every "planned" shooting the left cries for more gun control. They want everything banned. And when that happens (which it won't) and only cops and the military have guns, the left will look around and say, wtf happened? We didn't think this Country could turn into this.:sad20:

It is horrible, there is no denying that.

However, without the deputy responding, there well may have been more than one innocent life lost.

Sad yes. We need to stop this trend. And the only way to do it, is to make sure armed shooters KNOW they won't accomplish their goal.

Because they already know their lives are going to end. So the only other deterrent is making sure they don't accomplish what evil they portend.

9/11 should have been a wake up call, but nooooooooooo....................

Preaching to the choir only to an extent. Problem is it’s too easy even for some gun owners to make concessions based on emotions when kids are involved. Today’s it’s bump stocks (I’ve never been interested in them) but what’s next.... I used to be in the “reasonable” camp but recent events and my friends who already saw the light helped wake me up. Our 2nd is under an all out attack, the sooner we a community get on the same page the better we can defend it. Hopefully we can avoid that wtf moment..

You just needed to see Catherine Pugh say "I'm not putting guns in schools." when asked if she would arm the city school security. This was when it was pointed out to her that the resource officer in St. Mary's stopped a potential mass shooting and this is a viable solution.

The Democrats don't want a solution. Solving these issues is not what the DNC wants. Eliminating the 2nd Amendment is their ultimate goal, no matter the cost.
