They've been done under a few manufacturers... I think I wound up paying $300 for mine in the end. They never got all that popular due to the requirement to mill your upper for 'em (the same situation as AK mag ARs).

Well, no kote because the shop needed more time, and this is my deer gun for this season. Evidently, the MATEN is the tightest receiver set they've ever seen in terms of lack of play and tolerances; so cerakoting to ensure that everything remained that way while not having the kote compromised would take 3-4 days of working on nothing else. I'll probably send it back to them after the first of the year!
