Blued guns turn white. Bought a treated cloth for blued guns but some residue remains from lead bullets. Any tips, tricks or suggestions?

Oh my, you're not using a "Lead-Away" cloth, are you? They remove lead AND bluing. I've always let the cylinder face sit in a little Hoppes, and then scrubbed with a stiff nylon brush. In my olden days, I used to try to completely erase any trace of a discoloration around the face of the chambers, now I just knock it back as much as I reasonably can and call it good.
Will shooting a case of lead ammo .38 sp thru 3-4 handguns adversely ffect guns...leaded bores?

Most guns get leaded by reloaders using a bullet that is too hard or they are shooting them too fast.
