I know the SCCY CPX’s have a different model for each color of the same damn gun. I guess the roster had to wait till someone submitted the oddball colors before you could buy one.

Which is why they're ditching it. Every minor modification had a separate stock number, it was a PITA for everybody involved.

This came about a year too late - I had a 2020 Dan Wesson Stainless Valor added to the roster last year because the 2020 model number is different than Valors of the past. This means I don't have to jump through hoops if I want to get the same gun in Dan Wesson's Duty Coat - that's a different model number than the stainless Valor I had added.

It's definitely a step in the right direction.

Good news indeed. There's a gun I want to buy but only the blue version is on the approved list, and I want the stainless finish which is not.

Since the Roster Board's workload just dropped by at least half , they'll only meet half as often ?

Finally some good news on the Roster front. FYI, Rachel Rosenberg is great to work with if you have questions.
When I was dealing with the SNAFU with my pistol last summer, she was really helpful in steering me in the right direction to get my pistol added to the roster.

She seems almost apologetic, like she thinks the whole thing is dumb too.

Yep, when a buddy had issues in April, she even called the manufacturer to try to workout the model number issue. Good customer service, not found often.
