Everyone says NO Lee load all. Natchez has them for $56.00 looking to shoot sporting clay a couple times a month. Is this still a hard NO?

if you want to experience shooting a round you made yourself for the first time its fine. If you plan to load 100 or more rounds a month, or if you want to adjust loads, no f'ing way - find a used Mec

I am running the swap meet and silent auction at the BCC IWLA on Fathers Day, there is often stuff there and bargains to be found. Guests are welcome.

Definitely....if you are loading more than a round of clays for you and your son a month (100 shells), get a MEC...the leverage provided over the LEE alone will save your shoulder.

With a reloading manual and a scale, sure you can adjust loads. I used the proper bushings and measured what came out with no issues and good accuracy.

I guess the question is, would Jim be a part time reloader, or is this a serious endeavour? For me it's reloading slugs for the range (maybe 100 a year) or a SHTF, I have something to make ammo with.

I have all the equipment and components , I simply haven't had the Time to play with them , nor on the imeadate horizon .

My goals are to load different than the usual . ie shot weights and velocities not common , and specialized long range Buckshot .
