We mostly gave up goose hunting years ago and concentrated on duck hunting and snow geese. We hunt geese incidental to our duck hunts. We have several really good goose hunting spots but the juice just isn't worth the squeeze. Next year though with my son beginning to hunt I am going to go a couple of times or make sure I bring a few decoys when we duct hunt. Next year might be fun we are purchasing an interesting new hunting property.

Dude you killed the most ducks this year of anyone I've seen. You've got some honey holes for sure.

I branched out big time this year, and it paid off. Not a lot of ducks, but my personal best ever, and three new species. Can't wait until next season.

My oldest and I missed out on the last week of goose between me getting sick and him hurting his shoulder (if I’m honest, it was more me, he is ambidextrous and will shoot interchangeably).

We did manage to bag these two back on the 22nd or 23rd. He loves goose hunting...

Nice job young men ! I have the bug so bad . Tried some goose hunting yesterday , seen birds buttttt nothing . Lost the farm I was hunting 4/5 years ago.Hunted it for 27 years , tough loss, real tough . Ever since then condemned to hunting public land it sucks . Beautiful property’s but just so much pressure . Trying learn a short reed. Haven’t had my boat in water in a few years so haven’t hunted ducks , always went to fishing bay. But did buy a kayak about month ago got one duck hunt in.Anyone know of a good guide for snow geese. Would pay the money for that . It’s my understanding you can shoot and shoot and shoot some more . Kinda like a meal don’t mind paying as long as I get the service / food. Or early goose season, 5 birds I believe . 200 or better for one bird can’t do/ won’t do. Off topic but I’d pay for one of those pheasant hunts . Short story , shot a beautiful Widgeon buddy told me mount it , I ate it , haven’t seen one since.Moral sometimes no 2nd chances . Maybe one day . Lots of great memories. Anyway any good guides ? Recommend? Googled some but don’t hurt to ask.

Snow geese are fun, nothing like having 50,000 birds over head and shooting boxes of shells. Don't know any of the guide services but you can only hunt snows when they are in a field that you have permission to hunt. We have about 1800 decoys now, and my buddy goes out to scout for them. So far can't get permission or the weather hasn't been right. The guide services have really locked up land, but we have been making friends with a large farmer who has farms in MD and DE. Hopefully we will get on them soon.
