Seems to good to be true. Says MD but the owner is in TX? Scam?

The reply I got:

Thanks for your interest in my rifle, It is brand new and has never been fired before, comes in a box with all paperwork. I am located in ft. Stockton Texas and my mode of payment is via postal money order or western union and i will have the rifle shipped to your address or your ffl dealer accompanied by my driver's license.. So get back to me as soon as your ready to purchase so i could send you the necessary details needed to purchase and i will also need the address where you'll like the rifle shipped to.

It is a scam.. Only deal with FTF local transactions.

Since its in Maryland, ask him if he can meet you at an FFL or MSP to complete the transaction. But the add has all the characteristics of a scam. Buyer beware.... Lots of scammers out there.

I do believe its a SCAM....That guy has been doing this for a few years actually....I saw something he had, and it was one of those..." If its too good to be true" kind of deals almost, but further investigation on my part and he just packed up and POOF....I informed ARMSLIST about this guy already, maybe 2 years ago....guess they haven't had enough bad press yet :-)

LWRC is getting very easy to acquire. We have moved 5 in the last few weeks, even a Cerakote model.

Check locally if you want one, hey are not that hard to find.

As or those auctions, they are claiming to be able to sell LWRC rifles cheaper than a dealer can buy them, I agree, scam.
