Actually it was talking to you that got me thinking about doing this. I started with just range etiquette and before I knew it I had several paragraphs and then added safety stuff, etc. They really should be separate threads, but I'll mess with it later. Glad everyone digs it.

Worthy to earn the sticky seal of approval. One thing I try to teach new handgun shooters is to turn 45 degrees when inspecting or clearing a malfunction. Barrel is still downrange. Most disconcerting when I see someone futzing with a pistol and and pointing up and down the firing line, with me next door.
