    I was admiring a Colt xse commander in a local gun store today and put a deposit on it. Do any of you guys have one? I thought that they were discontinued a few years ago but he said it was a new gun . I'm not too experienced in 1911's but did purchase a sr1911 in 10mm back in january. I love it so I wanted to get another. I have several glocks, 2 ruger revolvers, and 2 cz's , a 75bd and p01. The colt is the stainless one not the LW.

    I thought the XSE was discontinued for ~2 years. Maybe new old stock. Very sharp looking pistol.

    I didn't go there looking to buy anything but after fondling it for a while I had to have it. I didn't realize it was discontinued til I got home and did some research.
