It seems like reciprocity changes so much , what are the current accepting states of these permits for non resident? is there an advantage to one over the other? I currently have a maryland carry as well, THANKS

Fla is shall issue and does issue to non-residents. Fla and Utah non-res are both honored in over 30+ states but you might want to check to see which one would benefit you most by where you are looking to carry.

http://handgunlaw.us/states/florida.pdf http://handgunlaw.us/states/utah.pdf There's a lot of overlap between FL and UT but if you want to carry in FL, and aren't a resident, then you need the FL non-resident permit. |

FL also requires live fire. (Except Hunter Safety). UT does not, but requires a UT certified class.
