I'm sure there's probably a thread that already does this. I couldn't find the key word.

But where's all the WV folks located?

I'm in Clarksburg. NCWV. Not too far from I-79 and 50.

Eastern Randolph County near Glady. Also own 141 acres about five miles south of Canaan Valley and about 19 miles from the house. Right now its a part-time gig but in the spring it will become full-time as I start telecommuting for my job at Pax River. Born and raised in West Virginia, left to join the military and have anxiously been waiting to get back ever since.

Question for the WV crowd. We considered WV for retirement but wonder about winter weather and medical care in long run. We like the politics!

Winters are hit and miss. Potential for bad ones, but not much more than MD.

WVU Hospital is a top 5 hospital in the country.

Single digit acres in a county bordering a state line. But only occasionally visit there . ( Not avoiding on purpose, too much life getting in the way.)

Falling Waters, Berkeley County at River Bend RV Park part time from April through October. Shoot at Tango Down Range in Hedgesville when I'm over that way.

I lived in the Huntington-area for slightly over ten years. Marshall grad. My oldest son lives in Grafton. He's a WVU grad. Most of my family are originally from Logan County in the Peach Creek and Blair Mountain area.
