Here is an interesting post from her fb page.

    Concealed Carry

I am a Veteran and weapons certified hunter. While I do not own nor have access to weapons, I fully support Montana's gun law which allows women to carry a weapon in her handbag without a CC permit.

What the heck is a weapons certified hunter?
Notice she only supports a woman's right to concealed carry, without a permit.

This is why I avoid Facebook. It’s bad enough dealing with these idiots in real life, who think all of AACO outside of Annapolis are crazed racists.

Real question, since crazed liberals like this think that even calling the cops on any non white criminal is racist, why aren’t they targeted more? That’s basically a freebie.

AACO PD took her comment down after it was reported for being harassment.

The local FB groups where she was posting have removed the story altogether.

She lost to Seth Howard, so there's some good news there at least.

It’s helpful to us that a former state delegate sought to abuse the red flag law. It’s evidence that the law is flawed and even those who created it don’t understand it.
Her Facebook hissy fit should be archived and shoved in the face of the General Assembly.

She was never in, just a candidate, but I agree that this is an example of the abuse that will cone.

As Chad states aboves, it's legalized swatting. People are going to get hurt.

I disagree that Red Flag laws are being abused. They're being used exactly as their sponsors intend, as yet another mechanism to make lawful firearms ownership as limited, inconvenient and fraught with legal hazard as possible.

So if I “identify” as a woman in Montana I can CC w/o permit? In my “man bag”?

AACO, and specifically the Broadneck peninsula continues to move in the wrong direction. More and more of these folks every time I go back to visit.

There is absolutely no doubt the lefties will weaponize red flag laws. God forbid it gets put into place, it should be limited to family members. Don’t need these loonies two cents on every social media post they disagree with.

Also why I don’t use Facebook.

My friend is trying to tell me that only select people can report you under the red flag laws.

    Law enforcement
    Health professional
    Spouse or family member
Someone the person is dating or has children with
    Current or former legal guardian

Is this true? I thought anyone could file against you.

They are correct (in theory) under Maryland's law

"Anyone" would have to go to an LEO and convince them

Not sure what will happen at national level, if anything

I’m under the impression criteria vary from state to state. Not sure feds can mandate requirements on a national scale.

Anyone can make a “in good faith anonymous tip” to the cops who have had somewhere around 98% of all ERPO’s rubber stamped so far in MD. There’s no discernment, they raid first and ask questions last.
