I’d love to have an old Enfield action. One of my projects for the coming year is a De Lisle inspired build. I’ll do it on whatever action I can find for a good price. .45, .44 mag, 10mm.

I wish I had known! There was a No.4 Mk. 1 that went for sub $100 at the Hagerstown auction just two nights ago. It'd have been cost-prohibitive to bring back to original in terms of furniture, and was missing the bolt release catch. It was a BSA Shirley. Want me to keep an eye out for an action for ya?

I have a MKIII action sitting in my shop that is waiting to find a .45 barrel blank. It is going to get a true (as close as possible) DeLisle treatment including a Form 1 suppressor. I had a barrel blank for it, but my dumb ass used it for a .450 Bushmaster bolt action. :sad20:
