Contemplating a mid sized batch of shells , with an eye to generating used hulls for reloading , with a variety of loads. 12ga 2 3/4 in primarily , secondary interest in 20ga , both length . In terms of durability , versatility , and lots of load data

Once upon a time, Win AA was THE casing
Are they still the gold standard ? Are others rivaling them these days ?

AA compression formed cases haven’t been around for a decade. Their AA HS hulls are second to Remington STS or Nitro hulls. They’re the same hull just a different color and label.

I’ve never reloaded anything but target rounds but this site has a lot of specialty load products and information.

Thanks . Back in the day the RXP was apparently in second place to AA , but looks like they switched places .

Almost branched into loading shotshells also several times over the years , but didn't quite jump in . Back timing to have rekindled interest during a primer panic .

Have the BP catalog . Precision Ballistics overlaps them , but haven't had their catalog for several years .
