last time i seen a dissipator upper, it was a straight profile and was not a pencil barrel. I would have thought it to be good to go

You might be thinking of Windham - this one is HBAR.

I got the heavy barrel Dissipator from Windham. It only weighs 8oz more than the M4 profile barrel. For 8oz I will take the heavy barrel all day long regardless of MD law.

I have a PSA dissipator upper but it is an A2 profile. Been wanting to get anothe one maybe the SOCOM or M4A1 profile...have the PSA 14.7" upper in the SOCOM profile which is nice.
